Swimming pool construction in Dubai attracts contractors who price the tiling and improvise the engineering. Shells are poured without a structural design for saturated ground and hydrostatic uplift, so cracks appear within two seasons. Plant is undersized, so water turns and the owner runs the pump twelve hours a day fighting algae. Balance tanks are omitted, skimmers are set at the wrong level, and the deck falls back toward the coping. Then the municipality inspection fails, and the barrier, drainage and electrical bonding all have to be rebuilt.
We start with structure and paperwork. A structural engineer designs the reinforced concrete shell for your soil report, water table and pool geometry; the drawings, barrier details, drainage and electrical bonding go to the municipality or community consultant for approval before excavation. Plant is sized to turn the whole volume in under four hours, with a plant room you can actually service. Waterproofing is a warranted tanking system, tiling is fixed on a full bed, and the pool is water-tested and commissioned with balanced chemistry and a written maintenance schedule handed to you.

Deck materials are selected for barefoot surface temperature as well as slip rating — light porcelain and travertine stay usable in July, dark stone does not. Salt systems are specified with compatible fixings throughout.

Eleven to fifteen weeks on site once approvals are granted, and approvals typically take three to six weeks depending on the community and municipality.
Yes. Municipality approval is required, and gated communities add their own consultant review covering setbacks, barriers, drainage and overlooking. We prepare and lodge both.
Salt systems are gentler on skin and eyes and reduce chemical handling, but need compatible fixings and a slightly larger upfront cost. Both need the same filtration turnover.
Chilling is the more useful of the two here — pools reach the mid-thirties in summer. A heat pump is worth adding if you swim from December to February.
A weekly service contract typically runs from AED 800 to 1,500 per month depending on volume and whether chemicals are included. We hand over a written schedule either way.
Often yes, as a plunge or lap pool, subject to setbacks and access for equipment. Where a digger cannot reach, hand excavation adds cost and time, and we say so at survey.
